How do I delete a place?

Android (e.g. Samsung, HTC, Sony): To delete a place, go to the the places tab and tap on the place for a few seconds, then tap the trash symbol in the top right-hand corner.

iOS (iPhone): To delete a place, tap "edit" within the places tab, then tap the delete symbol next to the place.
